    My Background I am a 54-year-old woman who has been living with a diagnosis of complex PTSD (c-PTSD) for many years. Since the age of 19, I have pursued nearly every conventional mental health intervention available: various forms of counselling, talking therapy, psychotherapy, three separate psychiatric assessments, prescriptions for antidepressants and calming medications, EMDR, and regression psychotherapy. While some provided temporary relief, none delivered lasting, sustainable change. The symptoms always returned, often intensified by new life triggers.
